Position overview
Rexfab is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Regional Sales Representative to join our team and expand our presence in the Southeastern United States. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, driving sales, and promoting our automated bakery equipment to manufacturers in the bakery sector, including those producing sliced bread, artisan bread, rolls, and sweet pastries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in sales within the bakery industry, with a proven track record of success in selling capital equipment, particularly to Flowers Foods and other major bakery manufacturers in the region.
Key responsibilities
Sales & Business Development

Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in the Southeastern U.S. bakery sector, with a particular focus on key players like Flowers Foods.

Manage and nurture existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and growth targets within the region.

Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to key decision-makers and technical teams at customer sites.
Relationship Building

Leverage existing relationships with key stakeholders at Flowers Foods and other bakery manufacturers in the region to drive sales.

Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering tailored solutions to meet their operational needs.
Market Intelligence & Reporting

Stay informed on industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to position Rexfab’s products effectively.

Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to the management team.
Technical Expertise

Provide technical insights and product knowledge to support customers in evaluating Rexfab equipment.

Collaborate with the engineering and customer support teams to ensure successful installations and ongoing support.
Qualifications
Experience
-
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the bakery equipment industry, with a focus on manufacturers of sliced bread, artisan bread, rolls, and pastries.

Proven track record of sales success, including meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Established relationships within Flowers Foods or similar large bakery manufacturers in the region.

Experience working with capital equipment in a technical sales environment is a plus.
Skills & Attributes

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.

Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close sales.

Ability to travel extensively within the Southeastern U.S. as needed (up to 50% travel).
Education

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
